After a passenger ship sinks, several adults and one child wash ashore near an abandoned lighthouse. Cut off from civilization, they struggle to survive as their situation becomes increasingly dire. As violence and taboo choices emerge, the survivors are pushed past moral limits. Through the fundamental act of “eating,” the story explores what it truly means to be human when survival is no longer guaranteed.
